THE STAFF

Abel was born, grew up and went to school in Uganda. From 1974, he worked as a banker and later as an academician at Makerere University. He later went for a master¡¦s degree in Business Administration at the University of Nairobi. Upon completion of his MBA, he worked for the Kenya government for 5 years before returning to Uganda where he worked in many state enterprises at top management level for many years before developing a passion for tourism. Abel is widely traveled.

He however singles out landmark places he visited that have inspired him into uplifting the level and quality of tourism services in Uganda especially Acapulco, Bali, Jakarta, Fiji Islands, Mauritius, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Havana, Switzerland, Banjul, Namibia, Israel, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Florida. Some Western cities such as Vienna, Cologne, Stockholm and Paris among others have been interesting to visit. His passion for travel and seeing places have translated into Amazing Safaris Ltd.

Catherine is a Kenyan citizen by birth. Having heard a lot about Uganda from her friends, she longed to come and see the country well known to many yet unknown to her. Immediately after completing her 'O' level education she ventured on a journey to the unknown. She decided to pursue her education in Uganda where she proceeded with her 'A' level education in a high school in Kampala, Uganda and two years later, received admission to the University. She holds a bachelors degree in Social Work and Social Administration.

Having studied a lot about the social aspects of life, she felt tourism was an area she would put into practice what she had studied as this sector involves interaction with different people with a diversity of cultures. Seven years ago Catherine ventured on a journey into the unknown, now she knows what the big talk about the Pearl of Africa! was all about and this is the very reason she has never looked back! Mr. Richard Kizito Mubiru is our tour and travel Manager. He holds a diploma in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Tourism and Hotel Management.

Richard is a multi lingual and speaks French, German and Italian and also plays the role of linguistic guide/interpreter for our clients. Richard offers a strong professional background of more than 10 years experience under his belt in progressively responsible positions in the tour and travel sector inclusive of 4years working with the Uganda Wildlife Authority as a Reservations Officer/Ag. Visitor Services Officer.
