British Airways, the only commercial airline offering direct flights between Entebbe and London, starting this October 28 will have an additional two flights - on the Entebbe-London Heathrow route, despite the global economic slowdown, which has hit the airline industry.

Ms Chaitezvi said while many of the BA customers use their services to fly to London on business or for visiting friends and family, they have seen an increasing amount of transfer traffic with Washington, New York and Toronto - the most popular destinations for onward travel among Ugandan customer base.

Flights from Entebbe to London will depart at 21:35pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays arriving at 6:55a.m.Flights out of London to Entebbe will depart at 10:45a.m on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays arriving at 19:10p.m.
