British Airways to have 5 weekly flights into Uganda

British Airways, the only commercial airline offering direct flights between Entebbe and London, starting this October 28 will have an additional two flights - on the Entebbe-London Heathrow route, despite the global economic slowdown, which has hit the airline industry.

This is a great development for BA passengers and Ugandan travelers that demonstrate the confidence that Uganda has as a destination , increased travel flexibility from Entebbe, London and connecting destinations. and the importance placed on this route and the region according to Ms Faith Chaitezvi, British Airways’ country commercial manager for Uganda

Ms Chaitezvi said while many of the BA customers use their services to fly to London on business or for visiting friends and family, they have seen an increasing amount of transfer traffic with Washington, New York and Toronto - the most popular destinations for onward travel among Ugandan customer base.

Flights from Entebbe to London will depart at 21:35pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays arriving at 6:55a.m.Flights out of London to Entebbe will depart at 10:45a.m on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays arriving at 19:10p.m.

Thanks for an amazing safari experience and an amazing driver/guide.

I’m sure Ahmed has 6 pairs of eyes, one for the road, one for animal spotting and one for birds. He was a really good guide. A very nice person, excellent calm driver, very knowledgeable and great at spotting animals. He made our holiday a truly amazing safari.

Uganda honeymoon

We chose Uganda and Amazing Safaris as in Catherine we found was the most helpful person we found who could cater for our needs as this was our honeymoon. Everything was better than we expected. Dominic our driver was great fun and very knowledgeable. Everything ran smoothly and was expertly organized by Catherine. Thank you Catherine, Ahmed and Amazing Safaris!We had a wonderful trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi forest for the gorillas-we fulfilled a dream….gorilla tracking.wow!!! Mweya lodge, Gorilla Resort…..they were all perfect. Despite popular belief, in the whole 8 days, we have only seen 1 mosquito!!!

Rwanda gorilla adventure

A wonderful experience indeed, one never to be forgotten. From the beautiful landscape of South West Uganda, the amazing gorillas and the reminder of human suffering when we visited the memorial center in Kigali. Robert, our driver, was a most knowledgeable guide. He was a very careful driver and able to tell us about the crops, animals and birds we saw on our journey.

Thank you for arranging the trip. I would certainly recommend Amazing safaris to other people.
