Our daughter Carolyne had travelled to Uganda to do her research and so we decided to go and see her and also visit the community she had been working with during her stay. We had never been to Uganda before and were a bit anxious. However, as soon as we landed at Entebbe airport,we were amazed by the beauty of the country. We visited the community where my daughter was doing her research and it was fascinating:the people in the community, the food(absolutely loved the matoke) and the warm weather. Five days before our departure,Carolyne surprised us with a safari to Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo National Parks. Amazing Safaris picked us up from our hotel in time in a comfortable 4WD Land cruiser.
I must say it was great relaxing in Mihingo lodge in Lake Mburo and watching the animals having a drink. The trip to Queen Elizabeth was definitely one of the best memories I have of Uganda:the diversity of wildlife and birds was incredible: The game drives and the launch cruise trips were quite enlightening and our driver guide Robert was conversant with the trails and was indeed an excellent driver. The customised safari vehicle provided for our safari was perfect for game viewing as the pop-up roof gave us excellent photography opportunities.Every time I look at the photos I remember the drive through the green country side, the amazing wildlife, the wonderful Mihingo,Jacana and Mweya safari lodges we stayed in and the wonderful service with a smile offered to us by Amazing Safaris.Thank you for the first class holiday!!!

My family and I were interested in visiting the genocide memorial site in Rwanda as well as Murchison Falls National Park. We sent out inquiries and were impressed by the swift and detailed response we received from Amazing Safaris. We communicated constantly and despite the different changes that had to be made, together we came up with the best the best itinerary to suit our time frame not to mention pricing. With everything settled our worry was arrival and pick up at the airport as our flight was scheduled to arrive in Entebbe airport at midnight. To our relief,a member of staff of Amazing Safaris was there to meet us.
The safari commenced in time, the following day. The visit in Rwanda went well and the accommodation choice was simply amazing. Transition from one country to the other went without a hitch. Our trip to Murchison was splendid. The driver guide Robert was quite knowledgeable and patient. Amazing Safaris was a reliable company with friendly and experienced staff. We have no regrets on our choice - Amazing Safaris is definitely the best. Thank you for arranging the most memorable trip ever.

My cousin was getting married in Uganda and well, I thought it would be best to kill two birds with one stone by taking on a safari a week before the wedding day.
We contacted Amazing Safaris and their package was quite attractive in terms of content and pricing. The correspondence we had with them was quite informative and by the time the day of travel came, we were anxious for the safari. Arrival and pick up at the airport went swiftly and we were excited to find a member of staff waiting for us. Immediately, our safari began.
Despite the heavy rains, the 4WD Land Cruiser provided for us was able to maneuver through all the roads. We saw many stuck vehicles and naturally we were worried we wouldn’t be able to make it but the experienced driver guide and great vehicle provided to us, ensured a safari that proceeded like clockwork, as planned in the itineraries. What can I say, the memories of this trip with Amazing Safaris is one that will forever be remembered.
