Hiking and Scenery viewing
At Lamoj Mountains, just a few kilometers from the park headquarters, visitors can go to view the splendid Kidepo river valley dominated by borassus palm forest. The mountain and savanna landscape of the park is amazing. Visitors will enjoy the stunning views of the Narus valley situated in the southwest of the park. To the north of Sudan at the Lotukei Mountains and the Morongole range which marks the southern boundary of the park.
Nature Walks
Nature walks can take you to Kananorok hot springs which are 11km from Kidepo river valley. Visits to the Karamajong manyattas (homesteads) and kraals can increase your knowledge of African culture. You will see a variety of traditional costume, tools, spears, knives and arrows of the Karamajong. You will also get an insight in to their way of life.
