ACCOMMODATION

NILE SAFARI LODGE

On the southern banks of the River Nile, amongst the rich papyrus forest, lies an adventure on the Nile, thus called the Nile Safari Lodge. In 2005 this lodge was declared the seventh wildest place in Africa by the get away magazine. The lodge has wooden chalets and luxury tents and a private balcony that offers the visitor stunning views of the Nile thus bringing you closer to nature.
All rooms are fitted with en suite washrooms, a restaurant, a bar and a lounge with an open fire at night for socializing and entertainment. The lodge has a swimming pool which will give you a fresh look from the hot equatorial sun after a day of activities in the national park. The Nile Safari Lodge is also known as an exclusive location for a wedding of your dreams. Due to high professional standards of service, combined with the beauty and mystery of the Nile, the lodge has witnessed a number of honeymoons and weddings.
The lodge currently has 10 rooms which include five wooden chalets and five luxury tents.

PARAA SAFARI LODGE

Paraa safari lodge, commonly referred to as the jewel of the Nile, lies in North West Uganda, less than a kilometer on the northern side of the falls. The lodge enjoys magnificent views of the Nile and has been host to many dignitaries including Britain’s late Queen Mother. The lodge offers a unique mixture of comfort, relaxation and adventure. The lodge has a small area of landscaped gardens. The lodge has en-suite facilities, swimming pool and a dining area that overlooks the falls. For those wishing to relax, there is a swimming pool bar that offers different cocktails.

The lodge is set in dry woodland and is an excellent location for bird lovers. Common species around the lodge include, grey-headed kingfisher, red-throated bee-eater.

SAMBIYA RIVER LODGE

Sambiya River lodge is a mid-range accommodation facility centrally located in the park, 30km from Paraa park headquarters 20 minutes from the top of the falls. The lodge offers a unique experience of the ambience of Africa and offers magnificent hills for good game viewing. The lodge has cottages with en-suite facilities as well as a verandah for guests to relax.
Cottages are equipped with rechargeable emergency lights and solar water heaters to provide warm showers. The lodge has a generator which provides electricity from 7pm to 10pm.
For clients seeking low price accommodation, the lodge offers thatched bandas which share bathroom facilities. The lodge has a dining and bar area and also a swimming pool. Park rangers claim that Sambiya river lodge is one of the best viewing areas for over 45 bird species.

RED CHILLI REST CAMP

The Red Chilli rest camp is located in Paraa, south bank of the River Nile, 500metres from the park headquarters. The camp offers low to mid-budget accommodation in form of bandas and camping facilities with modern showers, toilets, cooking area and security lighting. The tents are supplied with paraffin lanterns at night and electricity is available from 8am till midnight. All bandas have beds, bedding, towels and mosquito nets.
Camping facilities are equipped with modern showers, toilets and cooking area. The camp has a fully stocked bar and restaurant with views towards the River Nile. Accommodation is on bed only. Meals are served on order.
