NATURE WALKS
Nature walks can be arranged around the park headquarters in Paraa. On the nature walks, visitors are accompanied by an armed park ranger who will be providing you with information about the flora and fauna of the park.
On your way you will encounter hippos along the river banks, baboons and black and white colobus monkeys. For the bird watcher, expect to see a variety of birds such as Blue-naped Mousebird, Spotted Morning Thrush, Chest-nut Crowned Sparrow Weaver, Vitelline Masked Weaver, Green-winged Pytilia, Silver bird and the Black-headed Gonolek.
General forest walks at Rabongo forest are also vital for the bird watchers. Expect to see the shy African Finfoot and the shining Blue kingfisher. The wildlife to be encountered are the buffaloes.
