3 Days Kibale and Queen Elizabeth National Park

 

Day 1:

Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Kibale National Park with a lunch stopover in Fort Portal town. This park is a Primatologist’s treasure with a population of more than 1000 Chimpanzees.Kibale forest is a wonderful place to experience the extra ordinary diversity of life in a tropical rainforest.

Dinner and overnight at: Ndali lodge (high-end) Mountains of the moon (mid-range) Fort Motel (Budget)

Day 2:

After an early breakfast and briefing at the park headquarters, depart for the chimpanzee tracking forest walk. Expect to find families of chimpanzees and other primates such as red colobus monkeys, Blue monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys and grey cheeked Mangabey chattering and swinging through the ancient forest trees.

In the afternoon, a visit to the Kasenda crater lakes.

Return for dinner and over night.

Day 3:

Immediate return to Kampala with a mini game drive en route via Queen Elizabeth National Park or go for a 4.5km guided walk at Bigodi wetland sanctuary before transferring to Kampala/Entebbe Airport.
